Inventors Peter & Yuen Yung swam into the Shark Tank with their sushi chain “How Do You Roll?” The brothers grew up in the restaurant business and decided to create their own “made to order” sushi roll quick service restaurant.  The brothers have brought in $1 million in sales and even earned an offer for a 75% buy-out worth $6.6 million.

Since opening, in 2008, they expanded to California, Arizona, Florida and North Carolina. They asked the Sharks for a $1,000,000 dollar investment for 12% equity in the company but none of the Sharks wanted to go into the restaurant business except Kevin “Mr. Wonderful” O’Leary.

In the end, Kevin offered $1,000,000 for a 20% stake in the company which the brothers agreed upon. If you or anyone you know has a great idea, please contact us at New Product Consulting.
