A few hours before their crowdfunding campaign ended on Indiegogo, Yellow Jacket’s iPhone stun gun case reached their 100,000 dollar goal. They are now the 8th most funded Indiegogo campaign of all time.
It works like a stun gun and was developed by Seth Froom, who was robbed at gunpoint in his home. Froom was traumatized after the event and wanted to find a way to protect himself in the future with a device that was nearby and handy. The Yellow Jacket stun gun case features a built in battery that can add an extra 20 hours of battery life.
The battery also powers the zap of electricity, which is enough to bring down a grown man. This new case can deliver 650,000 volts of electricity to an attacker. The price will go up to $125 when it goes to market.
