The 2012 International Home + Housewares Show is the largest housewares-only fair in the world. 2,000 suppliers will assemble to make their debut to be held this weekend, March 10 – 13 in Chicago at McCormick Place. The number for total attendees is around 60,000 including buyers and sellers, trade guests and news media.

20,000 buyers will flock to Chicago to spot future best sellers and source products that will make their businesses successful in 2012 and beyond. 30% of exhibitors coming from outside the U.S. Organized pavilions and independent exhibitors will feature products from Brazil, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Taiwan and Turkey and others.

“The sold-out status is continued evidence that the housewares and home goods segment is standing up well in the face of our current economic situation,” said Phil Brandl, IHA president.

From high-end international design to trend-setting basics, products range from kitchen electrics and home environment to gourmet specialty foods and cookware, from bakeware and kitchen tools to home decor, space organizers and cleaning products, and home healthcare to pet supplies and seasonal decor.
